AZONETA is pleased to announce our partnership with Snowspirations Global Health Solutions (SGHS), a global healthcare provider headed by Dr. Chudi Ufondu.
SGHS provides evidence based and innovative clinical medical advice with coverage spanning sub-Saharan Africa and a following of close to 200,000 plus members.
According to the WHO, infertility affects up to 15% of reproductive aged couples worldwide, but in sub-Saharan Africa, more than 30% of women aged 25 to 49 suffer from secondary infertility.
Although male infertility is also a cause of a couple’s inability to conceive, the social burden falls disproportionately on women.
Globally, health inequality and inequity disproportionally affects women more than men and in many cultures, childless women suffer from discrimination, stigma, and ostracism.
Our collaboration with SGHS will expand our reach across sub-Saharan Africa to at least 12 disadvantaged women over the course of the year. AZONETA will provide accessibility to one-on-one consultation for a period of 3 months with an SGHS Medical Practitioner who will provide informative healthcare focusing on sexual and reproductive health.
