In recognition of the International Day of the Girl Child 2021, and in partnership with Gift A Pad initiative, we created an awareness program towards the alleviation of “Menstrual Poverty” for young women.
This was facilitated by Ms. Ogochukwu Frances Ezeanyim (Founder of Gift A Pad).
We were able to visit five (5) schools across rural communities in South East, Nigeria. We targeted young girls between JSS1 and JSS3 levels with an educational workshop surrounding menstrual health and hygiene. The workshops were a resounding success and the feedback from all involved was nothing but positive! Thank you to our donors, partners and volunteers. Without you, none of this would be possible.
