Build a better tomorrow

who we are

AZŌNETĀ is a registered charity in Canada.

We started off by primarily focusing on poverty alleviation and promoting zero hunger in rural communities across Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State, Nigeria.

The idea behind AZŌNETĀ was inspired by the challenges and hardships that have plagued businesses, families and individuals during to the COVID-19 pandemic. We decided to spring into action to play our part within the global community, with an emphasis on supporting our smaller rural communities within Umuchu.

Today, AZŌNETĀ has expanded its goals to deliver positive impacts in people’s lives by adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a framework for our projects. As we continue to build new collaborations and partnerships, we look forward to expanding our mission across sub-Saharan Africa.

Faith Needy Children’s Home Fundraiser

AZONETA is hosting a fundraiser for Faith Needy Children’s Home. The facility is located in Awutu Bewuanum in the central region of Ghana. The Faith Needy Children’s Home houses 50 children ranging in ages from 4 – 16 years old. The facility is in desperate need of repairs from years of neglect and lack of funding.

But right now, the youth of the Faith Needy Children’s Home are in very much need of the essentials for everyday living. Every night the children sleep in a single room with only a sheet between them and the concrete floor, with no mattresses and no beds, and with your help, AZONETA can change that. Our goal is to raise enough funds for not only bed frames and mattresses but also comfy sustainable bedding.

With your help, together, we can create a better tomorrow today!
