On the occasion of the International Day of Charity, celebrated every September 5th, AZONETA’s volunteer, Chinenye Egbunonu, embarked on a meaningful mission to the Trinitarian Foundation for Orphans and the Helpless in Ugwudunu, Neni, Anambra State, Nigeria.
This foundation diligently cares for approximately 50 children, spanning from newborns to 18 years old. However, with sporadic arrivals of new babies, they frequently face financial strain to meet the needs of these additional dependents.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, AZONETA swiftly mobilized to offer assistance. Our proactive intervention included providing essential food items such as maize (corn flour), Milo, milk, baby formula, and baby diapers.
At AZONETA, we’re deeply committed to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children, part of our core mission to alleviate poverty. The International Day of Charity reminds us to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Through initiatives like this, we strive to make a tangible impact on the lives of those less fortunate, offering them hope, comfort, and a brighter future. But our work continues beyond there. As we commemorate the International Day of Charity, we urge others to join us to create positive change in the world. Together, let’s make a meaningful difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children, providing them the support they deserve.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chinenye Egbunonu and all our volunteers for their dedication and compassion. Your actions inspire us to continue spreading love and kindness to those who need it most.
As we reflect on the spirit of charity, let us remember that even the smallest act of kindness can profoundly impact someone’s life. Join us in celebrating the International Day of Charity by making a difference in the lives of others. Together, we can create a brighter and more compassionate world for all.
