AZONETA remains steadfast in our commitment to advancing education, focusing on enhancing literacy among children in nursery and primary schools. In honour of International Literacy Day, we’re thrilled to announce our initiative to ship over 2,000 books to Nigeria by year-end.
This endeavour is our response to the call for action on International Literacy Day as we strive to make a tangible impact on literacy rates. We will distribute the donated books to NGOs in the South West and schools in rural communities across the South East of Nigeria. Through this initiative, we aim to improve literacy skills and foster a love for reading among children.
International Literacy Day reminds us of the importance of literacy in empowering individuals and communities. Providing access to quality reading materials allows children to acquire essential literacy skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Literacy opens doors to knowledge, opportunity, and personal growth. It is the foundation of education and a fundamental human right. Through our book donations, we seek to break down barriers to literacy and promote educational equity.
