Transforming Ogbarimbga School: A Call to Action for Education

We uncovered pressing needs in the heart of Ogbarimbga School, where 256 registered pupils across nursery and primary levels eagerly seek education.

Upon a recent inquiry, we discovered a stark reality: the institution lacked fundamental amenities vital for a conducive learning environment, notably desks. Shockingly, children were compelled to attend classes while seated on unforgiving concrete floors or makeshift benches.

Moreover, our inspection revealed severe roof damage in two of the buildings designated for classrooms. Consequently, heavy rainfall penetrated through these compromised areas, wreaking havoc on library bookshelves, books, and the makeshift benches. Evidently, cracks on the walls bore witness to rainwater streaming across the building façades.

Determined to address these pressing issues, we initiated a GoFundMe campaign, rallying support for renovating the school’s roofs. The response has been extraordinary, with contributions surpassing 70% of our targeted goal. This overwhelming support is a testament to the collective desire to effect positive change.

Currently, renovations are underway, with the aim of completion by the week of April 11th. We’re optimistic that these efforts will not only rectify the structural deficiencies but also instill a renewed sense of hope and dignity within the school community.

If you share our passion for providing quality education to every child, we urge you to join us in this noble cause. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a tangible difference in the lives of these young learners.
